POPularity! was created by Dave and Mike Gardingham, a Buffalo-based couple with a shared love of great snacks, pop culture, and creating experiences that bring people together.
As a proudly locally owned small business, POPularity! is a "POP & POP" operation, built right here in Buffalo, with one simple goal: create memorable snack experiences that give people something delicious to enjoy, something fun to talk about, and a reason to make celebrations and everyday moments POP just a little bit more.
The idea was sparked by Dave's years as a movie theater manager, where he discovered that there was something almost magical about the concession stand.
The smell of fresh popcorn, the excitement of movie night, and the way a simple snack could become part of a lasting memory. That feeling became the inspiration behind POPularity!, where handcrafted Dirty Gourmet Soda POPs and Dirty Loaded POPcorn collide with the movies, music, characters, games, TV, and pop culture nostalgia that have shaped our lives.
